Power Skating

The dynamic and motivating Power Skating program is designed to build strong skills for both new and experienced hockey and ringette players.

Power skating improves not only straight-line acceleration, but also backward skating, tight glide turns, forward and backward crossovers and more. This program is best suited for skaters aged 6 or older who already have basic forward and backward skating skills. They must be able to skate the length of the rink using alternate strides and be able to stop on command without the use of the boards.

Skaters should wear full CSA-approved hockey equipment. Bring hockey sticks to the sessions as they may be incorporated into drills.

Registrations are accepted for both individuals and full teams.
